Elgouna is located about 22 kilometers north of Hurghada, directly on the Red Sea. The Egyptian entrepreneur Samih Sawiris had the foundation stone for this holiday area laid in 1989. Your German-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in a private, air-conditioned and comfortable vehicle. Then we drive to El Gouna.
Once we arrive in El Gouna, we take a walk along the promenade at the yacht harbor. Admire the magnificent boats and yachts.
At Marina Elgouna there are larger hotels such as Three Corners Ocean View as well as smaller hotels such as Mosaique, Ali Pasha and Captain Inn.

In the center of El Gouna (Down Town) with its various restaurants and shops, you have plenty of time to stroll around or drink Egyptian tea in a nice cafe.

Very competent, friendly tour guide (Karem), I learned a lot about the country and its people. Speaks great German. Trip content could be agreed individually. Save yourself the shopping in Hurghada with fixed prices (3x as expensive as next door to Verwandeln), here the "drop-off" people probably get good commissions. El Gouna is a nice little town, maybe a little more time to stroll around would have been nice. The time there was quite short

Our trip to El Gouna was an interesting experience. The guide led us through El Gouna, including to the observation tower, where you had a view of the entire city. It was very impressive when we then took the boat trip around the lagoon. El Gouna has very beautiful architecture and a special infrastructure. For us it had a touch of Caribbean feeling. Maybe again sometime.
